CAISTER SOUL RADIO

The 40th Anniversary Caister Top 100 chart was officially broadcasted during the two Caister Soul Weekender events in 2019 on Caister Soul Radio. The chart was created based on votes submitted by attendees of the Caister Soul Weekender and the extended family, spanning from the event's inception in 1979 to 2019. It's worth noting that this wasn't the first time a chart was compiled. In 2015, Rick Danes organised the inaugural chart, which was aired on Soulbeat Radio. Leading up to the 40th Anniversary, Rick approached the Caister management to rerun the chart. The complete Top 100 was played during prime time at the Caister Soul Weekender, and subsequently on Cheeky Radio, leaving a lasting impression as a testament to the event's status as the biggest and finest soul weekender.
